W40K - Canoptek spyder (arañas necronas)

Os traigo la primera unidad que he pintado de necrones. Se trata de 3 miniaturas arañas necron antiguas de metal (Canoptek Spyder).

El pintado es muy sencillo y rápido:

MINIATURA
- Imprimación negra (spray de GW)
- Capa tipo preshading de Gunmetal de la gama Metal Color de Vallejo
- Luces con Cromo de la gama Metal Color de Vallejo
- Algún detalle de gris claro (he utilizado Celestra Grey de GW)
- Armas, ojos, algún detalle más con Magenta de Vallejo.
- Tinta violeta/morada sobre el magenta.
- Magenta de nuevo para resaltar.
- Luz de magenta + blanco en 50%
- Blanco de luz sobre el magenta.

PEANA
- Textura arena de Vallejo
- Pincel seco de hueso
- 2 tipos de césped con cola blanca
- Borde de la peana en negro

EFECTO DE LUZ
- Mezcla de 75% magenta flúor con 25% magenta y con el aerógrafo le das sobre los pitnados magenta terminados
- Cuando seque, le das un punto con pincel de blanco

EFECTO SANGRE
- Silicona fría mezclada con sangre de GW (dar muy rápido que se seca pronto)

BARNIZ
- 1 Capa de barniz brillante
- 1 Capa de barniz mate

I bring you the first unit that I have painted necrons. These are 3 antique metal necron spider miniatures (Canoptek Spyder.

The painting is very simple and fast:

MINIATURE
- Black primer (GW spray)
- Gunmetal preshading layer of the Metal Color range from Vallejo
- Lights with Chrome from the Metal Color range of Vallejo
- Some light gray detail (I used GW Celestra Gray)
- Weapons, eyes, some more detail with Magenta de Vallejo.
- Violet / purple ink on the magenta.
- Magenta again to highlight.
- Magenta + white light at 50%
- White of light on the magenta.

BASE
- Vallejo sand texture
- Dry bone brush
- 2 types of grass with white tail
- Edge of the base in black

EFFECT OF LIGHT
- Mix of 75% magenta fluorine with 25% magenta and with the airbrush you give it about the finished magenta bends
- When it dries, you give it a point with a white brush

BLOOD EFFECT
- Cold silicone mixed with GW blood (give very fast drying soon)

VARNISH
- 1 layer of gloss varnish
- 1 layer of matt varnish

W40K - Proyecto ejército Necron (inicio del proyecto)

Buenas a tod@s,

He empezado un proyecto nuevo, consiste en pintar mi ejército Necron en unos 3 meses de plazo.

Utilizaré técnicas de pintado rápidas y sencillas, pero buscando contraste de color para dar una buena sensación.

Mi idea es utilizar metalizados de color base, los que usé en los esqueletos de los caballeros imperiales, que me gusta mucho el acabado y aprovechar para perfeccionar mi uso con ellos.

El color de contraste sobre la miniatura será magenta, he realizado alguna prueba y me gusta mucho como queda.

Para terminar la peana tendrá un acabado arenoso utilizando textura de vallejo, otra conocida que me sirvió para las bases de los Drukhari por encargo (encargo que tengo algo parado, ya que es de un amigo y no le corre prisa).

I have started a new project, it consists of painting my Necron army in about 3 months.

I will use fast and simple painting techniques, but looking for color contrast to give a good feeling.

My idea is to use metallized base color, the ones I used in the skeletons of the imperial knights, which I really like the finish and take advantage of to perfect my use with them.

The contrast color on the thumbnail will be magenta, I have done some test and I really like how it looks.

To finish the base will have a sandy finish using vallejo texture, another known that served me for the bases of the Drukhari on request (commission that I have something stopped, since it is from a friend and does not rush).

W40K - Imperial Knights (parte 2 de 2)

Os traigo la segunda de la anterior entrada en la que hablo sobre el pintado de mi ejército de caballeros imperiales.

Para el acabado final he barnizado con aerógrafo una primera capa de barniz brillante y después mate. Me lo recomendó un amigo y la verdad que estoy bastante contento con el resultado.

Además he probado una nueva técnica, los pigmentos. Lo aplico con un pincel pequeño y estiendo con una brocha de maquillaje pequeña.

I bring you the second of the previous entry in which I speak about the painting of my army of imperial knights.

For the final finish I have varnished with airbrush a first layer of gloss varnish and then matt. It was recommended by a friend and the truth is that I am quite happy with the result.

I have also tried a new technique, pigments. I apply it with a small brush and stretch with a small makeup brush.

W40K - Imperial Knights (parte 1 de 2)

He estado trabajando en un proyecto de pintura bastante importante para mi y por fin puedo darlo por finalizado. Se trata de un ejército de caballero imperiales que voy a utilizar como proxy de caóticos también.

Como tengo bastantes fotos del proceso y he rematado el proyecto con alguna técnica que me faltaba voy a dividir la entrada en dos partes: fotos/videos del proceso y fotos finales.

Os resumo el proceso de pintado:

- Imprimación en negro con spray.

- Esqueleto Gunmetal Grey de la gama Metal Color de Vallejo con luces en Cromo de la misma gama. Después apliqué bronce de GW en algunas partes y tinta marrón y/o negra en otras para crear algo de contraste. Tubos de energía con magenta y tinta roja/violeta.

- La armadura me ha llevado muchísimo tiempo, preshading y el color base una mezcla propia (turquesa claro de Vallejo 75% + Medium Metal de Vallejo 25%). Las luces las apliqué mezclando lo anterior con amarillo hielo en un 50% de proporción.

Hi all!

I have been working on a very important painting project for me and I can finally finish it. This is an imperial knight army that I will use as a chaotic proxy as well.

As I have enough photos of the process and I have finished the project with some technique that I was missing, I will divide the entry into two parts: photos / videos of the process and final photos.

I summarize the painting process:

- Black primer with spray.

- Gunmetal Gray skeleton of the Valle Color Metal range with Chrome lights of the same range. Then I applied GW bronze in some parts and brown and / or black ink in others to create some contrast. Energy tubes with magenta and red / violet ink.

- The armor has taken me a long time, preshading and the base color a mixture of my own (clear turquoise of Vallejo 75% + Medium Metal of Vallejo 25%). I applied the lights by mixing the above with ice yellow in a 50% proportion.
