W40K - PROYECTO AMPLIACIÓN EJÉRCITO NECRON

Buenas a tod@s,

Con la salida de la nueva edición de Warhammer 40.000 y la renovación de parte de la gama Necrona, he decidido ampliar un poco el ejército (ver fase 1).

Este proyecto lo he llamado NECRONES FASE 2 y consiste en varias unidades de la nueva caja de inicio así como de un vehículo que me ha regalado un amigo:

El esquema será muy sencillo y el plazo que me he puesto es tenerlos terminados antes del 01 de noviembre.

With the release of the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 and the renewal of part of the Necrona range, I have decided to expand the army a bit.

I have called this project NECRONES PHASE 2 and it consists of several units of the new starter box as well as a vehicle that a friend has given me:

Videotutorial Erradicadores Marines Espaciales

Os traigo una serie de videotutoriales de la asociación Iberian Highlanders que ha desarrollado un gran pintor al que admiro, Ismael de la Fuente. Ya nos enseñó hace tiempo como pintar metal no metal en esta entrada.

Se trata de como pintar Erradicadores Marines Espaciales del capítulo Ultramarines (Eradicator Squad). Utiliza técnicas de aerógrafo y pincel, así diferentes pinturas acrílicas y óleos.

I bring you a series of video tutorials from the Iberian Highlanders association that has been developed by a great painter I admire, Isamel De La Fuente. He already taught us long ago how to paint metal not metal in this post.

It is about how to paint Space Marines Eradicators from the Ultramarines chapter (Eradicator Squad). It uses airbrush and brush techniques, as well as different acrylic and oil paints.

W40K - Proyecto ejército Necron (fin FASE 1)

Buenas a tod@s,

Tenía pendiente mostraros el proyecto Necron terminado completamente, pero por falta de tiempo no he podido subir varias unidades terminadas.

Finalmente he decidido enseñaros el proyecto completo. Lo he catalogado como FASE 1, ya que saldrán novedades Necronas y tengo entre manos un proyecto nuevo de una minaitura de Forgeworld.

Os dejo unas fotos y un índice con links a las entradas del proyecto, puede que incluso me anime a montar un dosier como mi amigo Sergio Torregimeno.

I had to show you the Necron project completely finished, but due to lack of time I was unable to upload several finished units.

Finally I have decided to show you the complete project. I have cataloged it as PHASE 1, as Necronas news will come out and I have a new project for a Forgeworld mine in my hands.

W40K - Death Guard Rhinos

Hola a todos,
Hi all,

Continuo pintando vehiculos para mi ejercito de Death Guard, esta vez le toca a un par de Rhinos. He utilizado el esquema pre-herejia y añadido detalles caoticos como simbolos de nurgle y pinchos. Tambien he utilizado pintura crackelante de Green Stuff World para hacer grietas en las placas y simular la corrupcion de la maquina.

Continue painting vehicles for my Death Guard army, now is time for a couple of Rhinos. I have used the pre-heresy schema and added some chaos details like nurgle symbols and spikes. Also I used crackle paint from Green Stuff World to make the fissures in the plates and simulate the corruption of the machine.

La parte blanca la realizé usando el mismo metodo que hablamos en el anterior articulo sobre el PlagueBurst Crawler.
For the white parts I did it using the same method that we explained in the previous article for the PlagueBurst Crawler.

W40K - PlagueBurst Crawler

Hi all,

Continuando con el pintado de mi ejercito de Death guard, le toca el turno al PlagueBurst Crawler. He decidido pintarlo en tonos blancos preherejia para dar la sensacion de antiguedad de los vehiculos. Por eso he aplicado un efecto de desgaste muy fuerte, para dar sensacion de que han pasado cientos de años desde que estan en servicio. Los lanzaplagas se han pintado en tonos verdes para contrastar un poco. Para los efectos de oxido, he aplicado mayormente Kalahari Orange (SC-75) bastante diluido.

Continue painting my Death Guard army, it is the turn for the PlagueBurst Crawler. I decided to paint it in white tones pre-heresy to give the vehicle a very old style. So I applied a very strong weathering effect, to give that look of very used vehicle used during lots of years. The plaguebursts have been painted in green to make a little bit contrast to the miniature. For the rust I mainly used the Kalahari Orange (SC-75) very diluted.

W40K - Mortarion

Hi all,

Durante el confinamiento muchos hemos decidido aprovechar para lanzarnos a un proyecto más grande de lo habitual. En mi caso, decidí pintar al primarca de mi ejército: Mortarion. Es una gran miniatura, quizas mi preferida de GamesWorkshop, tambien literalmente, plagada de detalles por todas partes, con montones de piezas y otros elementos que no son del propio personaje: nurgletes, sirvientes, etc....
During the lockdown lot of people decided to work in bigger projects than usual. In my case, I decided to paint the primarch of my army: Mortarion. Is a great miniature, by favourite from GW, and also very big, crowded of details everywhere, with tons of pieces and other elements that are not from the miniature itself: nurgle daemons, slaves, etc...

Se han realizado numerosos proyectos con este personaje por otros pintores. En mi caso, queria que la miniatura estuviese ambientada en un mundo de gases venenosos de color verdoso que viciaran el aire y lo convirtiera en algo parecido al Natal Barbarus, asi que decidí usar gran cantidad de verde muy saturado en la escena para dar esa sensacion del gas. A nivel de esquema, decidi que llevaria una armadura blanca originaria del capitulo y añadiria los ornamentos en rosas y purpuras para destacar y romper la monotonia de la miniatura a la vez que complementa muy bien el verde intenso. Tambien, he realizado una peana de display donde insertar la peana de juego, de tal manera que pueda llevar la figura a concursos de pintura a la vez que me permite jugar con ella.
There's a lot of painting projects with this miniature by other painters. In my case, I wanted to ambient the miniature in a world with green poison steam  that makes the air unbreathable and converts it in something similar to the original Barbarus, so I decided to use lot of green very saturated in the schene to give that feeling of the poison steam. About the schema, I decided to paint the armour in white as in the original chapter and paint the adds with pink and purple to highlight and break the minature monotone and at same time complements the green very well. Also I did a display base where I can insert the playing base, so this allows me to take it to painting contests as well as play with it.

Ha sido un trabajo duro, de mas de 3 meses de sesiones diarias de trabajo, pero al final he conseguido terminarlo. Para recoger todo ese trabajo, he realizado una pequeña guia de como he realizado cada parte que puede ayudaros en caso de que alguna parte os guste y querais intentar algo parecido:

W40K - Portador de la noche Necron (C'tan Shard of The Nightbringer)

Buenas a tod@s,

En esta ocasión os muestro una miniatura muy especial, un C'TAN Portador de la noche (C'tan Shard of The Nightbringer) de metal que ya tiene sus añitos.

He utilizado una peana de 60mm para darle presencia y estabilidad (venía de serie con una de 40mm que le quedaba ridícula).

Espero que os guste. Agradeceros vuestras visitas y comentarios de antemano. Ya queda poco para que termine de mostraros el proyecto, el cual terminé hace semanas pero al ser muchas unidades he tenido que repartirlo en varias entradas.

This time I show you a very special model, a metal C'TAN Carrier of the Night (C'tan Shard of The Nightbringer) that is already old.

I have used a 60mm base to give it presence and stability (it came standard with a 40mm one that was ridiculous).

W40K - Necron Cryptek conversion (cronometrón)

Buenas a tod@s,

Hoy os traigo otra conversión de un Cryptek necrón (Necron Cryptek). Esta vez he añadido un escudo para simular la regla del cronometrón (una regla de aura que otorga salvación invulnerable de 5+ a unidades de infantería).

De nuevo he utilizado una peana de 40mm para darle más de presencia respecto al resto de miniaturas de infantería.
